When it comes to obtaining valid consent, there are many key issues to consider for each patient, every time they require treatment.

Join dentolegal adviser Dr Len D’Cruz as he discusses the complexities and best practice around obtaining consent from patients.

This live one-hour webinar is free for members and will focus on the consent process and its importance in both providing the best care for your patients and reducing your risk of complaints or claims.

With an opportunity for real-time questions and answers during the broadcast, this is the ideal way to have the expertise of Dental Protection brought directly to you.

By the end of the webinar you will:
  • Know the three essential components necessary to obtain valid consent from your patients.
  • Understand recently updated case law affecting how we get consent from patients.
  • Be reminded of the issues related to children and gaining valid consent.
  • Reflect on the process of obtaining valid consent.

This webinar meets the criteria for the GDC’s Enhanced CPD development outcomes A, B and D.
