The litigation team at Medical Protection Society (MPS) – which Dental Protection is part of – has won the award for best in-house legal team at the 2025 British Legal Awards (BLAs).
Now in its 16th year, the BLAs are hosted by Law.com International as the benchmark for excellence in the UK legal sector. The awards honour standout achievements of law firms, in-house teams, chambers, and individuals who are driving the legal profession forward.
The judges recognised the expertise of the MPS litigation team that blends unparalleled clinical negligence expertise with a proactive, member-focused approach.
Karen Miller, Chief Executive of Medical Protection Society, said:
“Dental Protection members trust us to stand by them during the most challenging moments of their careers, and this recognition from the British Legal Awards is a testament to the dedication and expertise our teams bring to their role every single day.”
Dr George Wright, Dentolegal Consultant at Dental Protection said:
“Our in-house Legal Services department is central to Dental Protection’s expert legal advice and representation. They collaborate closely with case handlers and our in-house dentolegal consultants, providing a multi-disciplinary, member-focused service that delivers real value for our members.”
