A package of support – the equivalent of offering the next two months of membership for free - has been set out by Dental Protection for members who have experienced a significant drop in their workload and a dramatic fall in income due to Covid-19.

Dental Protection and the Irish Dental Association are calling on the Government to ensure dentists have access to appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), as they continue to treat emergency patients.

Dental Protection has announced that its members in Ireland will soon benefit from a more local service, which will see cases and clinical negligence claims handled within the country, and clinical negligence expert Tom Hayes appointed to head up the expansion.
