Members undertaking expert witness work should do so only within their area of expertise and professional competence, while complying with relevant legal and regulatory obligations. Specialists

should provide opinions within their recognised area of practice. General Dental Practitioners should limit their dentolegal work to matters that fall within their training and scope as a General Dental Practitioner

If any cross-border dentolegal work is being considered, members must contact Dental Protection in advance to confirm this work can be included in their membership.
