Following the success of the last six years, Dental Protection is pleased to present another series of the popular Horizons evening roadshows taking place throughout Ireland in January 2015. Experienced local practitioners teamed with Dental Protection advisers will present a lively and interactive session. This whole team event is designed to provide a wealth of information which can help you to practise more safely and manage your own risks more effectively when working in these areas of dentistry. The presentations will cover:
- Where do the main problems come from in this area of dentistry?
- How can these problems be anticipated and managed?
- What do practitioners get wrong most often, and why?
- How to work within your competence and experience, and to recognise the cases where it might be more prudent to refer
- What are the key clinical records that need to be kept and why? What would good clinical records in this field consist of and look like?
- What are the key consent issues and pitfalls in this area of dentistry?
- Practical tips to improve your clinical outcomes and avoid problems.

Wednesday 28 January Harbour Hotel, Galway
The events are FREE to attend for members, along with a maximum of two team members (also free of charge). Non-members tickets are priced at €120*.
