Workshop Overview

International research shows that clinicians can reduce the risk of complaints and claims by improving communication skills and better managing patient relationships.

This highly interactive workshop gives a thorough grounding in the issues surrounding risk management and introduces practical and preventative techniques that dentists can implement immediately to reduce exposure to complaints and litigation.

The workshop will cover:

  • The motivation behind why patients complain
  • The importance of managing patients expectations
  • Practical skills to enhance communication with patients
  • Effective management of patient questions regarding care provided by other healthcare professionals.

Target audience

Dentists, hygienists and therapists.

CPD

The workshop provides three hours of verifiable CPD.

Cost

Members - free as a benefit of membership.

Non-members - £150 (inclusive of VAT).
