There’s a lot to consider when approached by the authorities with a request to share confidential patient information.
Dr Susie Sanderson will guide you and your team through handling these requests in an appropriate manner. Drawing on the GDC’s guidance and the law, she’ll help you understand when patient consent is and isn’t required and when you should seek further clarification around the purpose of the request.
