When it comes to obtaining valid consent, there are many key issues to consider for each patient, every time they require treatment.

Join Dentolegal Consultant, Helen Kaney as she investigates when ‘yes’ really means ‘yes’ and examines the key aspects of obtaining valid consent.

During this one-hour webinar you will gain a sound understanding of the consent process while recognising the importance of good record keeping in evidencing that consent has been obtained.

Suitable for UK Dental practitioners, there will also be an opportunity for real-time questions during the broadcast, giving you the opportunity to address Helen directly with your questions.

By the end of the webinar you will:

  • Know the essential components of obtaining valid consent from patients.
  • Be aware of recent case law affecting how consent is obtained from patients.
  • Understand the issues relating to children and young people when obtaining consent.
  • Reflect on the process of getting consent.
