  • Dates: 31 – 31 Jan, 2019

A webinar about record keeping

Time: 13.00 - 14.00

The whole practice team

In this webinar, Dr Martin Foster and Dr Thomas McCaffrey will provide an overview of current good practice in record keeping in Ireland. This aims to enhance your understanding of maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, to provide continuity of patient care and also protect you should a complaint or claim be made against you.

The Dental Council recognises record keeping as a core CPD subject, and expects all dentists to be proficient in this area.

By the end of the webinar you will:

  • have reviewed your knowledge of current record keeping standards
  • be able to assess the quality of your own record keeping
  • appreciate the role of good records for the continuity of patient care
  • have the knowledge to implement and share good practice with your dental team
