Freshers' t-shirt competition

Would you like to design the image for our new freshers' t-shirts and bags? Doodle a dentist and you could be in with a chance of winning!
Once you’ve drawn your dentist, just upload your picture via the link below to be in with a chance of having your design on the front of our freshers' t-shirts and bags for the school year of 2012/2013.
Everyone who enters will receive a freshers' t-shirt from this year. If we pick your design then you’ll also receive a goody bag.

Elective Camcorder Competition - now closed

Congratulations to Jane Rutherford and Anna and Sheila Friel, from Glasgow Dental School, who won the Elective Camcorder Competition. Jane is heading to Vanuatu to work in the local dental department, while Anna and Sheila are travelling between the UK and the USA to gain experience in veterinary dentistry.
Thanks to everyone who entered, it was really difficult just picking two winners!
Keep a look out on our website and Facebook for their videos which will be posted later in the year, once the girls have returned from their travels.
Dental Students Got Talent Competition - now closed

Our second Dental Students Got Talent Competition ran from December 2011 until March 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all your talent videos and were amazed at the variety of talent! From henna tattoo artisits to Celtic harpists, we never knew dental students had so many hidden talents. Here are the lucky winners:
- 1st place – Rajen Nagar, 1st year dental student at Manchester for his Piano Performance. Rajen won £1,500!
- 2nd place – Ryan Gray, 5th year dental student at Newcastle for his Portrait Drawing. Ryan won £500!
- 3rd place – Siavash Lord, 1st year dental student at Sheffield for his Dancing Dentist. Siavash won £250!
