Freshers' T-shirt Competition
Congratulations to Lexy Lyne from Manchester who had her design chosen to be on the front of our fresher’s bags & t-shirts for 2013/2014! Check out Lexy’s design below.
Lexy fought off tough competition this year, the designs were so good that we had to award two runners up prizes. The runners up were Shad Jaff from Glasgow and Sam Hill from Manchester.
The t-shirts & bags will be handed out to all fresher’s in the UK & Ireland who join Dental Protection as a free student member. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page as we may also have some to give away to a lucky few students! You can also check out all the entries on our Facebook page too.
Dental Students Got Talent Competition

Elective Photo Competition 2012
This year’s Elective Photo Competition proved to be the toughest yet to judge! It was fantastic to see pictures from so many electives. Thanks thanks to everyone who entered. Huge congratulations to Parag Shah from KCL who won the first prize of £300, and the five runners up who each received a £50 canvas printing voucher. We hope you all enjoy your prizes! To all those who are planning their elective for next summer, we hope these pictures inspire you!

Elective Camcorder Competition
Congratulations to Jane Rutherford and Anna and Sheila Friel, all from Glasgow Dental School, who won the Elective Camcorder Competition.
Jane travelled to Vanuatu to work in the local dental department, while Anna and Sheila spent their time between the UK and the USA to gain experience in veterinary dentistry.
