Dental Protection are pleased to announce the launch of a new event, Transitions, to take place in Scotland in April 2010.
The event will cater for the dental team at all stages of their career and will deliver keynote lectures on the recommended CPD topics, complaint handling and ethics.
The full day event will feature renowned speakers Hugh Harvie, Kevin Lewis and James Foster, delivering sessions which explore complaints and ethical dilemmas from Dental Protection’s cases archives.
The day will include an interactive workshop session, which will draw upon dilemmas which the average dentist may come across throughout their career, and look to discussing the issues which will impact upon the way the dentist treats the problem. Sessions on law and ethics and complaint handling will also be delivered, and will explore the role of communication skills in effective complaint handling.
The full day event will take place at the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld, near Glasgow.
Tickets for the full day event cost between £50 for VDPs, team members or DPL Xtra members, £65 for DPL members or £75 for non-members and includes verifiable CPD for 5.5 hours.
