    Q. I would like to obtain the IHAS Quality Assurance Mark for my practice in order that I can benefit from up to 10 hours a week inclusive indemnity available to DFU and DFN members who provide injectable cosmetic treatment. How can I do that?

The Quality Assurance Mark was launched to the general public in May 2010. Dentists can download details of the scheme directly from the IHAS website

The Quality Assurance Mark criteria have been set up by IHAS and reflect the fact that a practitioner will operate at or above an agreed set of standards. The standards reflect the scope and level of training undertaken by the practitioner in addition to the environment in which they work. Once you have achieved the Quality Mark please contact Membership Services on 08457 187 187 or by email and provide them with details of your Quality Assurance Mark certificate so that you can benefit from the inclusive indemnity for providing up to 10 hours of treatment a week involving injectable cosmetics. It is a requirement of this benefit that the member should hold the Quality Mark throughout the whole memebrship year. Since the registration date of the IHAS Quality Mark and the DPL membership year may not coincide it may be necessary to renew the IHAS Quality Mark to demonstrate that they have been a member of the IHAS scheme for the complete DPL/MPS membership year. For this reason it is important that members using this benefit should arrange to renew their IHAS Quality Mark in good time and retain documentary proof of participation in the IHAS regulatory process.
