    Q. When it comes to registering with CQC how should this be undertaken if several practices are owned by the same provider, operated as an overall group or trading entity but not incorporated in part or whole?

The CQC has explained that a provider of the regulated activity must be an organisation, an individual or a partnership. The owner will be from one of these three categories. An individual who applies for registration as a provider can still employ or make contracts etc with other individuals.
