Dento-Legal Adviser
Alasdair graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1984 and worked as a house officer for twelve months, gaining experience in restorative dentistry. He then worked in general practice in East Yorkshire until 1990 when he started a practice in Cottingham. He completed the Certificate Course in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1995.
Alasdair began working as a Local Dental Adviser in 2000 before joining the team at Dental Protection as an Associate Dento-Legal Adviser three years later. He graduated from the University of Wales with his LLM in Healthcare Law in 2007 and was appointed as a full-time Dento-Legal Adviser at Dental Protection in 2008.
Alasdair has been active member of the local BDA section for a number of years, including being Chairman. He is DPL's Deputy Lead for South Africa, Kenya and the South Africa Hub.
