Alan qualified as a dentist at University College Dental School, London in 1969, and has worked in general practice for over thirty years, as well as in the hospital service and as a university clinical lecturer. He is a long-serving member of the Barnet Local Dental Committee, and has been its treasurer for the last fifteen years.

He joined Dental Protection as a full-time adviser in 1997, and he still manages to find occasional sessions to continue treating patients in general practice.

Alan is responsible for running the London office and for coordinating more than one hundred dentists on our UK Local Dental Adviser Panel. He also manages DPL's UK corporate membership.
