About Dental Protection

Dentists who are working in Israel will be aware that it is a country with a high level of litigation. In order to deal with this Dental Protection has a team of experienced Dento-Legal Advisers who deal with this jurisdiction and who liaise closely with our adviser in Israel, Mark Casson. Dental Protection also retains a number of lawyers who deal exclusively with cases from DPL and MPS.

Many of the cases we deal with relate to the provision and restoration of implants. It is for this reason that dentists practising in Israel have the choice of two categories of membership. One category is for general dentistry and the other is for dentists who either place or who are involved in the restoration of implants.

Many of the complaints made to members are intercepted at an early stage by Mark Casson who provides the member with suitable risk management advice on how to resolve the complaint. Mark also supports and represents members who have received complaints to the Israeli Regulatory Body, the Ministry of Health.
