Electives
DPL operates internationally and so we are in a unique position to support you, wherever you go in the world. ![]()

As a student member we offer you:
- Full indemnity if your elective is outside of Australia
- 24 hour international dento-legal helpline
- Indemnity for 'Good Samaritan Acts'
Electives can be an exciting time but if you are going abroad you also have to be prepared for the challenges they can present, for example, communication and cultural differences, different standards of risk management and infection control and adapting to time challenges.
