Workshop or seminar - what’s the difference?

The main difference between a workshop and a seminar simply comes down to numbers. The DPL workshop series are restricted to no more than 24 participants, and that capacity is usually reached quite quickly. The small group format is designed to facilitate the interactive nature of the workshops.

Seminars, however, are only restricted by the seating capacity of the venues we use and are free to members and their non-registered staff. Interaction is more formal and questions are usually moderated by a chairman.

Non-member practitioners are welcome to attend both workshops and seminars for a fee.
