Request a speaker

If you would like to request a Dental Protection speaker at an event you are planning please complete the details below. Please help us by providing at least three months’ notice wherever possible. If you have provided us with all the information we need, we will aim to respond to your request as soon as possible. If you do not provide all information requested, we may be unable to process your request and incomplete applications will be returned and a new request needed.

Criteria for speaker requests

We are not always able to provide a speaker given the number of requests we receive. Audience size, travel time and time of day are taken into account when managing these requests. In office hours are easier to accommodate.

We usually ask for a minimum audience size of 20 delegates. Talks are usually 60 minutes in duration, including time for questions and answers. Longer sessions can be provided where requested. We provide lectures on core dentolegal topics but can also provide bespoke content.

We recognise that it can sometimes be difficult to achieve audiences of more than 20; you may wish to consider joining together with another group.

In accepting your invitation, please be aware that Dental Protection does not allow its presenters to provide advance copies of their presentations, unless the host is able to agree to certain conditions designed to ensure that it is not copied or distributed beyond that required for the presentation.
