First Prize went to Danny Demosthenous from Sydney Dental School
The photo was taken whilst volunteering in Cambodia - in Phnom Penh. Cambodia World Family treats about 80 orphanages from around the city. Sandra Buchler (3rd year dental student from Sydney) is in the centre of photo surrounded by the happy children.
2nd Prize went to Mark Nguyen from Melbourne University
The photo was taken of the boyband that Mark and his fellow students formed - ‘The BackTeeth Boys'. This photo was taken last year when they performed at the Melbourne Dental Students Society charity concert. They made a parody of the Backstreet Boys song, ‘I Want it that Way', but instead called it ‘You Have Dental Decay'. If you're as impressed as we were check out their video on YouTube!
