George Lazaridis graduated from Otago and worked briefly in general practice in Wellington, New Zealand. He then went on to establish a preventive-based general practice in London for over 27 years. He is married to a dental hygienist.
For the past six years he has worked part time in a private practice in Melbourne, also working part time as a demonstrator at The Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital, primarily with undergraduate students in years 4 and 5.
He has latterly been involved in teaching at the AIDER Institute (Asia and Pacific Institute of Dental Education and Research) preparing overseas trained dentists for their ADC exams.
George has also acted as a mentor for dental colleagues.
