Risk Management Workshops

DPL’s risk management workshop programme features three essential titles - Mastering Your Risk, Mastering Adverse Outcomes and Mastering Difficult Interactions.

These workshops provide dentists with essential skills and proven techniques to reduce their risk of complaints or claims, and improve patient outcomes.

They are designed by dentolegal experts and presented by dentists practicing in Hong Kong.

Members can attend these workshops free of charge and HKDA members receive a 50% discount on the non-members rate of $800.

CPD

The workshops in the series have been accredited for CPD:

  • Dental Council of Hong Kong: 3 CPD points
  • Hong Kong Dental Association: 3 CPD Hours
  • The College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong: 3CME/CPD Points (Cat A)

The Mastering Adverse Outcomes workshop provides powerful and proven communication techniques to deal with extremely disappointed patients after something has gone wrong. Using clinical scenarios and the DPL A.S.S.I.S.T© model for handling adverse outcomes, this workshop gives participants the confidence to deal with this most challenging of clinical situations.
